3-country conference in Austria. 4.200 Euro

Estimated economic loss: 4’200 Euro!

We were travelling to Austria with a few colleagues to a meeting with participants from 3 countries. There were a total of 15 participants. The conference leader started off with a PowerPoint* presentation.

After 20 pages of the PowerPoint* presentation I became tired but I tried not to show it and continued to take down the most important points.

After 35 pages my hand didn't follow my will any more. I stopped writing.

After 40 pages I started drawing flowers.

After 45 pages I noted on my agenda: IT DOESN'T END!

After 53 pages I looked at my mobile phone to check to whom I could send an SMS now.

After 64 pages I had a look in the round to see who was still listening. There were no more than two participants, who were still listening.

After 68 pages the presentation was finished and I was finished with my nerves.

My boss also followed the presentation. The following fact illustrated that he was a good boss: Since that year, there have not been any other 3-country meetings.
